IntelliSys Solutions Group is an engineering and project management consulting firm headquartered in Philadelphia PA. Our team of software developers, engineers, and business analysts work together to improve automation, streamline logistics, and establish quality control for government organizations.

JOB SUMMARY

In this role, the Accounting Manager would be asked to oversee the financial accounting operations of the organization, including financial reporting, accounts payable, payroll services, and responding on behalf of the company in government audits.
We are looking for someone who is well-versed in the Deltek Costpoint platform or comparable systems that are commonly used in government contracting (Procas, Unanet, COINS, JAMIS, WrkPlan, etc). Experience with commercial ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, SAGE customized to cover US federal government contracts will be considered as well.
The Deltek Costpoint platform is an essential part of our business so candidates who are not familiar with the software must be extremely motivated and willing to learn independently in developing this role of subject matter expert.

QUALIFICATIONS

This position has a flexible degree requirement. All educational backgrounds are encouraged to apply if your resume includes significant experience with Deltek Costpoint. Candidates without Costpoint experience must have a Bachelor of Science in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. The ideal candidate must also have some understanding of
· Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
· Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically advanced Excel
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy, developing procedures
· Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
The following items are not required but may influence evaluation as preferences
· Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
· Understanding of Sarbanes–Oxley Act practices
· Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) or Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)
U.S. Government Export Control Status: This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.

Responsibilities

· Accounts Payable: Establish processes for vendor payments, bill tracking/ageing
· Accounts Receivable: Creating invoices, submitting to vendors, managing cash receipts
· Project Funding: Tracking funding authorizations, managing available funds/resources
· Employee Funds: Manage payroll, 401k contributions, timesheets, expense reports
· Audit Support: Prepare financial reports for government review, compliance
· Period Closing: Lead the month-end and year-end close process, reconciliation efforts
· Yearly Budgeting: Assist with the preparation of annual budgets for the company portfolio
· Executive Support: Develop company policy, provide actionable insights for decision-making
