As Manager Accounting, you are responsible for the entire financial administration for our Wholesale and Holdings divisions. You work on process optimization and are stress-resistant enough to manage complex financial situations and implement improvements in our processes.
What are you going to do?
As Accounting Manager, you are responsible for the entire financial administration of the Louwman Wholesale and Holdings divisions. Together with a team of 11 accounting specialists and employees, you ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings. In addition, you actively contribute to process optimization. Your tasks include:
- Independently performing and coordinating monthly and annual closings, including changes in balance sheet items (provisions, accruals, etc.).
- Preparing consolidations and financial reports.
- Managing and improving financial processes.
- Handling VAT and ICP returns. Processing tax-related correspondence.
- Managing, motivating, and developing your accounting team.
- Maintain contact with external parties such as accountants and banks.
- Functional ownership and management of accounting systems.
With your critical eye and analytical skills, you contribute to a solid financial foundation for further growth. Your team works in both The Hague and Raamsdonksveer, so in this role you will be present at both locations. You coordinate when and where you will be present in close consultation with your team.
What do we ask of you?
You are driven, have strong communication skills, and an eye for detail. You take initiative, are strongly motivated to improve processes, and know how to motivate and inspire your team. Additionally, you possess:
- A completed higher professional education (HBO) degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar field.
- At least 10 years of relevant work experience, part of which in a managerial role.
- Experience with process optimization.
- Accounting experience or a background as a certified public accountant.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Preferably experience with SAP.
- Availability of at least 32 hours per week.

- A salary between €4,800 and €7,300 gross per month based on 40 hours per week, tailored to your knowledge and experience.
