Description In this significant role you will be reporting to the President as you manage a small staff and serve as a valuable resource to the company’s operations, customers and vendors for the entities that comprise our family of companies across multiple states. With over $30M in annual revenue and currently over fifty people employees, the company is well-positioned for accelerated growth. As a career-minded accounting professional, you will exhibit strong integrity and accuracy while managing responsibilities ranging from strategic planning, monthly forecasting, and annual budgeting to day-to-day accounting functions as needed. You must be a well-organized multitasker and a self-starting proactive puzzle/problem solver who can collaborate effectively within all functional areas of our company. Your mentality is rooted in a commitment to continuous improvement and service to the company’s values and mission. Requirements BS in Accounting Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience. CPA experience preferred with thorough knowledge of GAAP financial reporting, payroll, sales tax, internal audit and controls, AR and collections, AP and cashflow, merchant accounts, etc. Experience with accounting for multiple related companies, multiple divisions/departments, and consolidations. A background in industrial distribution and/or manufacturing a plus. Experience with ERP systems; Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) software a plus. Advanced to Expert working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Strong ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in written form. Valid and verifiable driver’s license and record. Must be able to fulfill requirements of Company Fleet Policy. Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, training and safety clearances.
