OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with all financial regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in various accounting software to manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and budgeting processes effectively.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role in a finance department.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, particularly in accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and budgeting.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, or similar platforms is essential.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate account analysis.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments and presenting financial information clearly.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, commerce or a related field is required.
  • A master’s degree in business administration (concentration in finance), or another master’s level management program may be required.
  • Several years of experience in accounting, auditing, budgeting, financial planning and analysis or other financial activities are required.

  • Supervise payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support business decisions.
  • Maintain and improve accounting systems and procedures using QuickBooks.
