Position Specific Description This position will be responsible for all matters related to property accounting for existing assets surrounding the fixed asset life cycle for Power delivery (i.e. transmission and distribution). This individual will be responsible for delivery of accounting, financial and regulatory reporting for fixed assets consistent with compliance requirements from multiple regulators (SEC, FPSC, FERC, PUCT) and business partners with the objective of maximizing value to customers and shareholders. The manager will work with the Director to ensure that the financial systems and asset sub ledger enable the required accounting in the most efficient and effective manner. Additionally, this leader ensures that the operating business units are provided strong and timely consultative support as necessary to enable their achievement of goals and objectives while ensuring that the financial data provided from the upstream Business Unit (“BU”) work management systems is reasonable and properly reflected in the financial statements of the enterprise Preferred Qualifications Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Regulatory Experience Job Overview Employees in this job manage and coordinate a unique accounting function and lead complex accounting projects.
