Position Summary: The Accounting Manager position requires a professional, organized individual with the ability to take ownership of new projects. This role requires management of multiple projects simultaneously, accuracy in daily work, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for maintaining the daily accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of the financial statements, and other duties as assigned. The Accounting Manager will be cross-trained in other functions and reports to the Controller. Qualifications (include but are not limited to): * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field * At least 2 years’ Accounting experience * Excellent Excel Skills * Willingness to be very hands on  * Excellent analytical skills  * Excellent organizational skills * The ability to work well with co-workers and in a team environment * Record of dependability and good attendance * Excellent customer service skills * Minimum of Intermediate computer skills in Word programs Duties (include but are not limited to):  * Maintain financial reports, records, general ledgers and perform general bookkeeping for Parker Trutec, Inc. * Reconcile general ledger accounts, including prepaid insurance and accruals. * File quarterly CAT and Sales tax. * Monitor and follow up on receivables.  * Review payroll reports, monthly accruals, and GAAP entries. * Projects and other duties as assigned. * Other duties as asked by the CFO. * Manage 2 Accounting Clerks * Own transactional accounting Additional duties may be required as needed by Parker Trutec and our customers.
