Accounting Manager (GAAP, Multi-Entity, QuickBooks) – Remote | U.S. Hours Position Type: Full-Time, Remote Working Hours: U.S. Business Hours About the Role We’re hiring an Accounting Manager to own financial accuracy, reporting, and month-end close across multiple entities. This is a hands-on, execution-driven role — not a supervisory-only position. What You’ll Own1. Month-End Close & Financial Reporting (Core Focus) Execute month-end close with accuracy and timeliness Prepare financial reports aligned with client requirements Ensure compliance with: GAAP Maintain clean, structured workpapers 2. Payroll & Employee Setup Process payroll using: Gusto or similar Manage employee onboarding in payroll systems Ensure payroll compliance and documentation 3. Core Accounting Operations Oversee: Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Maintain accurate general ledger across entities Manage day-to-day accounting with precision 4. Sales Tax & Compliance Calculate and file U.S. state sales tax Maintain documentation for all filings Ensure compliance across jurisdictions 5. Reporting, Analysis & Forecasting Build custom financial reports Support: Budgeting Forecasting Provide insights for decision-making 6. Process Improvement & Systems Review and document accounting processes Identify inefficiencies and improve workflows Standardize systems across multiple clients/entities 7.
