Local HVAC contractor in the Dallas is looking for a dynamic Accounting Manager and problem solver to join our team!
This position will be responsible for daily accounting functions and financial analysis and requires someone with experience in transactional accounting within the construction, HVAC or similar industry, and accustomed to working in Excel and QuickBooks daily.
Job Title: Accounting Manager
Work Hours: Full time
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm
Pay Scale: $65,000 - $75,000 salary range depending on experience

Skills / Qualifications:

• 5 + years of transactional Bookkeeping/Accounting experience in construction, HVAC, or similar industry
• AS degree in business / accounting, or combination of experience and education
• QuickBooks experience
• Cloud based CRM experience - We use Service Titan
• Advanced Excel & Microsoft Office
• Job costing experience
• Payroll experience
• Problem solving and providing solutions
• Efficient & Analytical
• Management accounting experienc

• Responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting
• Closing books by the 12th business day of the following month.
• Transactional work
• Maintaining efficient internal controls
• Payroll including 401K, commissions, and deductions
• Accounts payable & receivable
• Invoices
• Billing & Progress billing for multistage jobs
• Monthly reports
• Job costing
• Profit and Loss
• Budget analysis and forecasting
• Financial reporting and monthly closing
• Customer service
• Other duties as assigned
