Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Greeley, Colorado. This role is ideal for a meticulous individual with strong expertise in financial management within the manufacturing industry. You will oversee critical accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial results.
  • Oversee general ledger activities, including maintenance and reconciliation of accounts.
  • Coordinate and support financial statement audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and review account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Lead the preparation and posting of journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Develop and implement streamlined accounting processes to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting policies and practices across all financial operations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to less experienced accounting staff, fostering growth.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend strategic actions.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles.
  • Proficiency in managing month-end close processes and general ledger activities.
  • Strong knowledge of financial statement audits and regulatory compliance.
  • Expertise in account reconciliation and accurate journal entry preparation.
  • Familiarity with accounting practices in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities to guide teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus.
