What You’ll Do Lead & Develop an Amazing Team Mentor and inspire a team of accounting professionals, creating a collaborative and high-accountability environment. Set clear goals, provide coaching and feedback, and support the team’s ongoing development. Ensure your team stays current with accounting best practices, tools, and emerging technologies. Drive Accounting Excellence Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including AP/AR, payroll, general ledger, and monthly close. Deliver accurate and timely financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual). Continuously streamline, optimize, and improve accounting processes and workflows. Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and key financial reports. Ensure Compliance & Strong Controls Uphold GAAP, company policies, and regulatory standards with precision. Develop and maintain internal controls to protect company assets and data integrity. Lead internal and external audits with confidence and organization. Provide Insights That Drive Results Analyze financial data to uncover trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Partner with leadership across the business to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decisions. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment on financial objectives and project costs. Champion Systems & Tools Oversee the performance and optimization of accounting systems. Identify and implement new tools or enhancements that increase accuracy and efficiency. Requirements What You Bring Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA preferred. Experience 5+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role. Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) and Microsoft Power BI required. Experience with RAMP and Solver preferred. Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
