Description Responsible for planning, organizing, directing and performing activities related to the financial and accounting functions of the organization; provides support and advice to management and the Board. Responsible for leadership, daily supervision, training, scheduling, decisions for hiring and termination, and conducts performance evaluation and corrective actions for staff in coordination with the Chief Financial Officer. Establish and maintain positive and professional working relationships with Management and staff at all campus locations. Ensure the Accounting Department is in compliance with the Financial Policies and Procedures . Maintain fiscal responsibility, confidentiality and proper accounting controls. Supervision of accounts payable and accounts receivable areas. Supervision and assistant ensuring proper usage of grant expenses, invoicing, and reconciling. Supervision of all service billing, reconciling, and quality assurance. Works closely with Development to ensure proper reporting and compliance. Oversee completion and filing of annual 1099’s for vendors and partners of the Ranch. Ensuring maintenance of accounting records. Other related duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelors’ degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field; AND five (5) years of professional accounting and finance experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
