Staff Plus is currently hiring for an Accounting Manager for a manufacturing company in Halton region to join their team.
This is a permanent position that offers competitive base salary + 20% top performer bonus + RRSP match etc.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven managerial experience with strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance
  • Experience in manufacturing accounting role
  • Strong interest and proficiency in computer systems and ERP platforms, especially Infor CSI/SyteLine
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Accounting/reporting tools
  • Comfort with modern financial systems and strong technical skills, particularly with ERP platforms such as Infor CSI
Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of six across accounting, payroll, and admin functions, ensuring efficient, accurate, and policy-aligned operations.
  • Set performance goals, balanced workloads, and fostered a collaborative, growth-oriented culture.
  • Support staff development through mentoring, feedback, and training initiatives.
  • Implement cross-training and succession planning to ensure operational continuity.
  • Manage daily banking and financial transactions, ensuring accurate recording and timely reconciliation.
  • Oversee financial processes for subsidiaries, maintaining consistency with corporate standards.
  • Supervise transaction processing (invoices, receipts, journals) and credit card management.
  • Ensure data integrity to support accurate reporting and effective decision-making.
  • Monitor cash flow across entities and enforced internal controls and compliance.
