POSITION SUMMARY: The Corporate Accounting Manager will oversee our general accounting operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. This position will play a key role in managing the monthly and annual close processes, overseeing the preparation of consolidated financial statements, supporting audits, and providing strategic financial insights to drive operational efficiency. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee the preparation of divisional and consolidated financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP Lead and coordinate the monthly and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards Manage general ledger functions and monthly account reconciliations; ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records Prepare and review key financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements Serve as the primary liaison for the annual audit process; coordinate with external auditors and prepare supporting documentation Provide financial analysis and data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making across departments Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, enhance expense control, and reduce costs Leverage accounting and reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Power BI, Vena, MS Office Suite) to improve operational efficiency and reporting capabilities Manage, mentor, and develop a team of staff accountants, fostering a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 5–7 years of experience in public accounting Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred Previous management or supervisory experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite Experience with financial systems, reporting tools, and process optimization Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment EOE Statement: State Industrial Products is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, gender, age, veteran status, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status or disability (in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act*), or any other legally protected status, with respect to employment opportunities.
