REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Relevant professional experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably across multiple business entities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records for each business unit, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial accounts.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for each business unit.
  • Track and manage budgets across all business entities.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax laws.
  • Provide the owner with clear and concise financial reports, including performance metrics and key insights.
  • Coordinate with external auditors or tax preparers as needed.
  • Assist with cash flow management and forecasting for each business.
  • Develop and maintain effective accounting policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate costs associated with various operations and projects, identifying areas for potential savings or efficiency improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of fixed assets, ensuring proper depreciation schedules and documentation.
