POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager – Tax & Treasury Focus to support the financial operations of the business with an emphasis on tax compliance, treasury management, cash flow oversight, and financial reporting. This role blends hands-on accounting responsibilities with treasury and tax functions while also providing leadership and support within the accounting department. The ideal candidate will be analytical, highly organized, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.     --------------------------------------------------------------------------------   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES   TAX & COMPLIANCE * Support federal, state, and local tax compliance activities * Assist with preparation of tax filings, schedules, and supporting documentation * Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors as needed * Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and audit requirements TREASURY & CASH MANAGEMENT * Manage daily treasury activities including cash flow monitoring and banking transactions * Assist with liquidity planning and cash forecasting * Maintain banking relationships and support treasury reporting requirements * Monitor cash positions and support working capital management initiatives ACCOUNTING & FINANCIAL REPORTING * Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes * Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses * Assist in preparation and review of financial statements and variance reporting * Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities OPERATIONAL & LEADERSHIP SUPPORT * Partner with operations and leadership teams to support financial decision-making * Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies * Provide guidance and support to accounting staff as needed * Assist with implementation and maintenance of financial processes and controls QUALIFICATIONS   EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required * 5+ years of progressive accounting experience required * Experience with tax compliance, treasury, or cash management functions preferred * Manufacturing, industrial, or recycling industry experience preferred * Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus TECHNICAL SKILLS * Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting * ERP system experience required; Dynamics 365 preferred * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel * Experience with financial analysis and reporting tools preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * High attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment * Strong organizational and communication skills * Collaborative, hands-on approach with the ability to work cross-functionally   Aperam is a global leader in stainless, electrical, and specialty steels, as well as recycling and renewables, serving customers in over 40 countries.
