Support external audits and reviews by preparing and reviewing PBC schedules, providing supporting documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries in a timely and organized manner. Help design, implement, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls appropriate for a high-growth, highly regulated company preparing for a potential public listing. Oversee and review multi-entity accounting, including intercompany transactions, eliminations, and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy in legal-entity and consolidated reporting. Contribute to the implementation and ongoing optimization of financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, etc.) Collaborate with pharmacy operations, technology, and other departments to align financial processes with business workflows and to identify process improvements and control enhancements. Provide day-to-day guidance, review, and coaching to accounting staff, setting clear expectations for quality, accuracy, and timeliness; participate in hiring and onboarding of additional team members as the function grows. Support ad hoc analysis and special projects as requested by the VP of Finance or CFO, particularly those related to growth, scalability, and public-company readiness. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. CPA strongly preferred. 7+ years progressive accounting experience, including a combination of public accounting and industry experience. Strong understanding of US GAAP; experience with public-company environments, IPO/readiness work, or IFRS is a plus. Skills: Advanced Excel skills and strong overall systems aptitude. Experience with mid-market or enterprise ERP systems (NetSuite strongly preferred). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand both detailed transactions and the broader financial picture. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a focus on accuracy and completeness. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams and functions. Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to provide oversight, review work, and support the development of other team members.
