Position Summary: This role oversees the monthly close process and annual audit, manages transactions, reconciles GL accounts, and supervises a small team. The position requires strong accounting expertise, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Manage monthly close and maintain financial records across all GL accounts Prepare journal entries and resolve account variances through regular analysis Reconcile consumer loan activities, cash, and other accounts Handle corporate cash management including wires and ACHs Support investor reporting and audit preparations Document and improve accounting processes Contribute to financial analyses and special projects Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration Thorough understanding of GAAP, including consumer lending topics 5+ years of accounting experience ERP proficiency and strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: CPA certification Has owned the monthly close and audit processes for a company or division Financial services or consumer lending accounting background Team management experience Oracle NetSuite experience Technology forward approach to process improvement Ideal Candidate: We value eager learners with drive, urgency, passion, and leadership skills who help others succeed.
