Description

A great UHY client is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience with a Non-Profit, payroll experience and supervisor experience.
The Accounting Manager role is a hybrid position with 2 days in office. This is a client direct hire position.

ACCOUNTING MANAGER REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of professional accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and variance analysis.
  • Familiar with net assets with donor restrictions and endowments.
  • Proficiency in preparing Form 990s.
  • Experience with payroll processing and related compliance requirements.

    - Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the preparation of month-end financial statements, including the balance sheet, statement of activities, functional expense report, and cash flow statement.
  • Oversee internal financial reporting related to donor contributions, grants, endowments, and net assets with donor restrictions, ensuring full regulatory compliance.
  • Support payroll processing while adhering to applicable laws and regulations.
  • Ensure prompt and accurate vendor payments.
  • Work closely with the CFO and external auditors to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Maintain robust internal controls and drive continuous enhancements in financial processes.
