This role manages financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, as well as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Accounting Manager ensures financial accuracy, supports strategic decision-making, and maintains compliance with applicable laws and standards. Responsibilities Manage and oversee accounting functions across multiple entities, including manufacturing S-Corps, LLCs, and real estate properties. Maintain complete and accurate financial records and ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Work with the General Manager to provide insight into financial performance and assist with key business decisions. Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support management in evaluating business trends and opportunities. Supervise and support accounting team members responsible for A/R, A/P, payroll, and general ledger function Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy within the accounting department. Monitor expenditures, cash flow, and financial performance to ensure alignment with company goals. Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax requirements, and all relevant local, state, and federal regulations. Maintain and strengthen internal controls for financial processes, safeguarding company assets and ensuring accurate reporting. Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to promote consistency and compliance across all entities. Collaborate with external auditors, tax preparers, and financial institutions as needed. Provide regular financial updates and reports to the General Manager and leadership team. Stay current on accounting standards, financial regulations, and industry best practices. Requirements Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field 5+ years proven accounting experience Professional accounting education (Degree or certification) Working knowledge of finance law and regulatory standards (GAAP) Strong understanding of economic and banking processes 2+ years experience as a senior-level accounting or finance manager Strong working knowledge of detailed financial data analysis Proven payroll experience, with a focus on streamlining accounting processes Exemplary history of financial project management Working knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance regulations and reporting
