OUR CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR AN ACCOUNTING MANAGER CONSULTANT FOR A 6-MONTH CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY

About the Opportunity

  • Reconcile cash transactions and bank statements for multiple corporate cash accounts
  • Monitor reconciliation activities performed by a center of excellence
  • Research and resolve reconciling items related to cash
  • Collaborate with different departments of the business to ensure proper recording of cash-related transactions and timely resolution of reconciling items
  • Prepare and approve journal entries and month-end account reconciliations for cash and investments
  • Monitor and analyze cash flow reporting
  • Provide insightful financial analysis, including explanations of variances between actual and prior period results.
  • Have a strong understanding of accrual accounting under US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (“US GAAP”) and SEC reporting requirements.
  • Recommend process improvements to streamline the cash process.
  • Ensure continued compliance with internal audit and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (“SOX”) requirements and assist with the identification of process/control/automation enhancements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

About You

  • Working towards designation
  • 5+ years of full cycle accounting experience including preparing reconciliations, (researching and resolving unreconciled differences), performing detailed financial analysis, cash flow reporting, etc.
  • Oracle and Workday
  • Advanced excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work with cross-functional teams and senior management
