MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business
• Minimum of 3 years work experience in a financial related position
• Must be willing and able to relocate to take on further leadership responsibilities within Nucor, now, and in the future.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• CPA and/or CMA
• Master’s Degree
• Manufacturing or Cost Accounting experience
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
• SAP experience
• Prior leadership experience

• Coordinate and execute accounting activities, including general ledger, fixed assets, accounts payable, tax financial and compliance reporting, and inventory management.
• Lead the implementation, communication, and interpretation of accounting and financial policies, ensuring GAAP compliance and system improvements.
• Supervise audit processes to maintain proper internal controls.
• Train, develop, and provide growth opportunities for finance department teammates.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of the production environment and act as the financial liaison with the division management team.
• Contribute to the development of teammates across all departments and be an active member of the division leadership team.
