Position Overview We are hiring a full-time Accounting Manager reporting directly to the CFO. This newly created position is perfect for a detail-oriented, process-driven accounting professional who enjoys operational involvement, thrives in a steady environment, and wants to grow long-term with the company. What You Will Do Lead monthly close and prepare accurate financial statements. Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, including journal entries. Manage daily accounting operations: AP, AR, payroll/HR, procurement, and equipment tracking. Oversee job cost and WIP reporting, analyze project budgets vs. actuals. Handle sales tax and compliance. Serve as ERP (Vista by Viewpoint) administrator, support, and train users. Coordinate annual financial review with external CPA’s. Recommend and implement process improvements and internal controls. Requirements 4+ years of relevant accounting experience (construction industry experience a plus, but training provided). Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Strong understanding of month-end close and financial reporting. Proficiency in ERP software (Vista by Viewpoint preferred) and Excel. Detail-oriented, organized, process-driven. Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse personalities (field staff, office team, external partners). Commitment to a long-term role.
