We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team in Dubai. This pivotal role involves leading a small, dedicated team of qualified accountants across our offices in Dubai and Beirut.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, ACA) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Mandatory: Strong audit experience, either from a professional services firm or in a senior internal audit role.
• Essential: In-depth knowledge of and hands-on experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Advantageous: Experience with corporate tax regulations and reporting (VAT, corporate tax, etc.).

Experience:

• Audit: 3 years (Required)

• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of accountants, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all accounting tasks.
• Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Audit Management: Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and manage the year-end audit process.
• Internal Controls: Maintain and improve the company’s internal control systems to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Financial Analysis: Provide insightful financial analysis to management to support strategic decision-making.
• Policy and Procedure: Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Cross-Border Coordination: Collaborate effectively with the Beirut team to ensure seamless financial operations across both locations.
