Description Accounting Manager Location: XLI Manufacturing, LLC Reports to: CFO Employment Type: Full-Time Position Summary: The Accounting Manager oversees all accounting operations within the manufacturing facility, ensuring accurate financial reporting. This role manages the day-to-day accounting team, coordinates with all departments, and provides financial insights to support strategic business decisions. Key Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and supervise the accounting team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger staff. Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. Manage inventory accounting for production operations. Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain fixed asset schedules. Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts; provide actionable insights to management. Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors as needed. Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures to strengthen internal controls. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Purchasing, Production) to support financial planning and cost management initiatives. Identify process improvements and implement accounting system enhancements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred. Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, including knowledge of inventory and production cost accounting. Strong proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and team development capabilities. Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders. Working Conditions: Office environment within a manufacturing facility; occasional exposure to production floor may be required. Standard business hours with occasional extended hours for month-end or audit periods. Pay Range: $80,000-$95,000 annually
