Mission Ranch has an opening for a full time Accounting and Office assistant
Full Time is 35 hours per week Mon- Fri.
Starting pay range is $20-$24 depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
Office Assistant
· Run daily reports and time cards for the restaurant
· Balance and record all daily sales receipts for all departments and make the bank deposit
· Maintain and balance cash on hand and provide change to departments as needed
· Answer incoming calls for the restaurant and direct as needed
· Check in liquor deliveries
· Sell and process phone orders for Gift Cards and Hotel amenities
· Order and Maintain office supplies and keep the office organized
· Assist with recording inventory and purchases
· Maintain Restaurant uniform inventory
Accounting Assistant
· Enter and record all sales into the accounting software
· Process incoming invoices for payment following company standard
· Prepare for A/P check run
· Review vendor statements and retrieve missing invoices
· Maintain all digital files and physical files
· Enter monthly allocations and assist with month end preparation
· Assist with A/R data entry and account set up
· Provide support to the accounting manager for additional tasks as needed

Qualifications & Skills

  • Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Adaptability and ability to research and correct discrepancies
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication, verbal, written, and organizational skills.
  • Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with employees and guests
  • Ability to multi-task, manage interruptions, establish priorities, and handle stress effectively in a fast-paced environment

Expierience & Education

  • Experience in the areas of accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Familiarity or experience with the food and beverage industry is beneficial
  • Degree or other certification in Accounting is a plus.

Language Skills

  • Ability to read, comprehend and provide instructions in English, both written and verbal.
