We are recruiting to fill the position below:

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assist in preparing, examining, and analysing accounting records and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Preparation of final accounts on a monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly basis.
• Assist in computing taxes owed and prepare tax returns, PAYE, and VAT,ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.
• Posting and reconciliation of transactions on the company’s accounting platform
• Appraise, evaluate, and take inventory of company assets while maintaining an asset register.
• Recording, Reconciling, and posting petty cash and imprest.
• Reconciliation of payments and receipts.
• Setting up and updating customers’ payment records.
• Preparation and payment of monthly payroll.
• And perform any other responsibility that may be assigned.

Education & Experience / Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a B.Sc, or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of post NYSC experience in a relevant accounting role.
• Professional accounting qualification
• Experience using practical and hands-on Excel. Experience with SAGE is an added advantage.
• Must be analytical, pay attention to detail and excellent customer service.
