Under the general supervision of the Senior Accounting Officer, Supervisor, the Accounting Officer (Specialist) preforms professional accounting duties of average difficulty to establish and maintain the accounts and financial records of the Inmate Trust Accounting/Cashier Office at the California Correctional Institution. Request for time off at crucial times of the month such as processing Master pay will be approved on case by case basis for institutional needs.

Working Conditions
California Correctional Institution is located in the Tehachapi Mountains approximately 325 miles south of Sacramento and approximately 120 miles north of Los Angeles.
CCI is a Multi-level, Sensitive Needs Yard, facility consisting of five (5) facilities, encompassed within a campus style layout with varied terrain. Work in this location may require exposure to varied temperatures dependent upon the season
