This role is responsible for digging into company financial activity, identifying trends and discrepancies, tracking expenses, and helping drive accountability across the organization. This position is ideal for someone who is highly detail-oriented, naturally curious with numbers, proactive in problem-solving, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. The Accounting Operations Analyst will work closely with leadership to improve visibility into expenses, identify inefficiencies, and support day-to-day financial operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  * Review and analyze company P&Ls and expense activity across departments * Research recurring and non-recurring charges and identify discrepancies or unusual trends * Track and reconcile corporate credit card activity and supporting documentation * Investigate balances, vendor charges, transaction details, and outstanding financial items * Assist with monthly expense tracking, forecasting, and reporting * Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies * Manage and follow up on outstanding accounting and operational tasks to ensure completion * Assist with tracking, organizing, and managing journal entries and supporting documentation * Prepare findings, summaries, and recommendations for leadership review * Support ad hoc financial analysis projects and operational side projects as needed * Maintain organized financial records and documentation * Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, accounting, and leadership teams Competencies:  * Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking * Ability to investigate, research, and solve financial discrepancies independently * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting responsibilities * Proactive mindset with strong follow-through and accountability * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism * Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis Qualifications:   Education/Experience:  * Degree in Accounting or Finance, or 2+ Years of relevant experience * Logistics Industry experience preferred In Office, M - F, 8-5
