Job Description As Consultant Accounting Principles & External Reporting (m/f/diverse) you will be the contact for our various internal stakeholders as well as our external auditors with respect to specific accounting issues. Preparation of the accounting for specific parts of the Annual Report and Quarterly Reports and contact for internal and external auditors Handling of Annual, Quarterly, Monthly and case-related accounting issues including coordination for required input Prepare advise and direct internal stakeholders to act in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for external reporting and apply basic accounting principles and internal guidelines Subject matter expert for accounting issues Updates of the Accounting Guidelines (Financial Reporting Manual) and Definition of Group Accounting Policies Continuous monitoring of accounting standards regarding legal requirements or internal issues Provide trainings on Accounting issues Participation in projects, e.g. implementation of new accounting standards Qualifications University degree in Economics with a focus on Finance and Accounting Profound professional experience at an accounting firm or in the financial and accounting department of an industrial company Several years of professional experience with the preparation of consolidated financial statements preferably for a globally acting company Business fluent English and German language skills Analytical skills Intercultural sensitivity and very good cross-culture communication and understanding Applications from severely handicapped people are welcome.
