SUMMARY

The Accounting Product Specialist at Centerbase will serve as the bridge between our product, our clients, and their accounting workflows. This role combines accounting expertise with product knowledge to ensure our platform is configured, optimized, and adopted effectively by accounting teams. The specialist will support product development, customer onboarding, training, and ongoing customer success initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. CPA or equivalent credential preferred.
• 3–5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or related role (public or private).
• Prior experience with accounting/ERP or practice management software strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and standard accounting workflows specific to law firms.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into product insights.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work cross-functionally.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving SaaS environment.
  This is a remote position. Candidate living in the Dallas, TX and Kansas City, KS/MO metros will be given preference.

• Act as the subject matter expert (SME) on accounting features within Centerbase.
• Support the product team in designing, testing, and refining accounting-related features.
• Collaborate with customers during onboarding to ensure smooth adoption of accounting functionality.
• Provide hands-on training to client teams on Centerbase’s accounting tools.
• Troubleshoot accounting-related issues, working with engineering and support teams to resolve them quickly.
• Gather customer feedback to help inform product roadmaps and improvements.
• Partner with sales and customer success teams to provide accounting expertise during demos, proposals, and renewals.
• Stay current with accounting standards, compliance requirements, and best practices to ensure Centerbase features meet industry needs.
• Create and maintain documentation, training guides, and knowledge base articles related to accounting features.
• Serve as an internal advocate for accountants and finance teams using Centerbase.
