Description
Accounts Receivable Management * Oversee end-to-end AR processes: invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and reporting. * Monitor dealer/customer outstanding balances and ensure adherence to credit terms. * Implement effective collection strategies to minimize overdue receivables and bad debts. * Conduct periodic reviews of customer accounts and aging analysis. 2. Credit Control & Risk Management * Define and enforce credit policies aligned with OEM business strategy. * Assess dealer/customer creditworthiness using financial analysis and market intelligence. * Mitigate risks by monitoring exposure and recommending corrective actions. 3. Cash Flow Forecast vs Actuals * Drive timely collections to support liquidity and working capital requirements. * Collaborate with Treasury for cash forecasting and fund planning. * Align AR collection targets; Warranty payout targets with monthly cash Flow plans. 4. ERP & Automation * Lead ERP enhancements for AR modules (SAP/D2S/ DMS). * Implement automation tools (AI, BOTs, dashboards) for faster reconciliations and reporting. * Ensure accuracy of AR data and seamless integration with sales and warranty claim systems. 5. Compliance & Controls * Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements. * Support statutory audits, internal audits, and ICS compliance as applicable. * Maintain documentation for receivable processes and credit approvals. 6. Stakeholder Collaboration * Partner with Sales, Dealer Network Development, and Customer Service teams to resolve disputes. * Act as finance liaison for dealer satisfaction on billing and claims. * Liaison with Banks for export realization, A2 Payments; EDPMS clearing. * Provide insights to leadership on receivable trends and risks and timely escalate risks. 7. Team Leadership * Lead and mentor AR team members in outsourced teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. * Drive performance metrics (DSO, overdue %, collection efficiency). * Recognize and motivate team contributions in process improvements.
