  • At least Diploma/LCCI/CAT qualified with few years of working experience in Accounting covering AP, AR and partial book closing
  • Experience gained with a MNC in the trading industry will have advantageous but not a must
  • Perm role that offers WFH arrangement (2 to 3 days per week after clearance of probation)
    Our client is an international chemical trading and investment MNC backed by a blue-chip parent co which is stable and established. It is based in town (right next to a MRT station). For this you will report to the Senior Mgr, Accounting (and work alongside a team of senior officers and executives in the accounting team).
    Selling pts re this co:
    -this MNC also allows WFH arrangement (around 2 to 3 days per week after probation clearance).
    -Allows for flexi time work arrangement in a day (e.g to start earlier/ later and end earlier/ later accordingly).

Job functions for this Accounting Senior Officer role:

  • Manage the day-to-day Accounting operations including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payables, Revenue Recognition for specific products/segments.
  • Assist to ensure closing of books within the timeline and review of any manual entry for adjustment.
  • Approve workflows for payments after preparing disbursement slips in system.
  • Prepare the internal monthly analysis report for the assigned products/segments.
  • Prepare manual invoice/debit notes when required
  • Assist in Audit (samplings)
  • Support as a team member, for cover of duty and any miscellaneous projects and tasks.

Requirements

  • At least Diploma/LCCI/CAT qualified with few years of working experience in Accounting covering AP, AR and partial book closing
  • Experience gained with a MNC in the trading industry will have advantageous but not a must
  • Good understanding with MS Office applications.
  • Ensure accuracy of reports and good communication skills both written & verbal.
  • Ability to multi-task and able to work well as a team member
  • Willing to learn with a positive attitude
