As an Accounting Services Manager you will: * Review workpapers, reconcile accounts, and compile financial statements for clients * Process payroll and review payroll tax forms such as 1099s, sales tax forms, etc. * Provide timely and accurate accounting assistance per client requests * Oversee payroll and sales tax audits and respond to related tax notices * Assist with individual and business preparation services * Perform and review research * Promote staff development through mentoring, training, retention, and team-building activities * Prepare proposals for request for services * Effectively manage other staff * Present internal and external training and seminars on technical issues * Perform other job-related duties as assigned Our ideal candidate will have: * Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration * Six to eight years of related experience is preferred * Strong communication skills and proven leadership experience * Proficiency with Microsoft programs and accounting software * Strong multi-tasking skills Enjoy the great benefits at Hawkins Ash CPAs such as generous PTO; 401k match; health, dental, vision, and life insurance; wellness programs; flexible work-life balance; and so much more! Responsibilities

The manager will be responsible for reviewing client workpapers, reconciling accounts, compiling financial statements, and processing/reviewing payroll and various tax forms. Additionally, the role involves overseeing audits, responding to tax notices, assisting with tax preparation services, and promoting staff development through mentoring and training.
