As a Senior Analyst in the Accounting Solution Center (ASC), you will serve as a strategic partner and problem-solver, bridging the gap between branch offices and the National Accounting Center (NAC). This high-impact role is at the forefront of delivering innovative accounting solutions, empowering teams, and ensuring seamless communication across the organization. In this role, you will be the go-to expert for resolving complex accounting inquiries, providing tailored support, and delivering training to employees, managers, and divisional leadership. You will play a critical role in identifying process inefficiencies, developing actionable solutions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will mentor and train ASC and Branch Accounting Service novices, ensuring the next generation of talent is equipped to excel. Your contributions will enhance operational efficiency, strengthen customer relationships, and support Gallagher’s mission of delivering world-class service and solutions. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service Leadership: Act as the primary point of contact for accounting-related inquiries, delivering exceptional service and fostering positive relationships with internal stakeholders. Expert Problem-Solving: Address and resolve complex accounting and transactional inquiries via phone and email, conducting thorough research and documentation to ensure positive outcomes. Escalation Management: Handle escalated requests by performing root cause analysis, reconciling accounts, and collaborating with NAC accounting teams to resolve complex challenges. Financial Oversight: Approve disbursements, including wire transfers and checks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies. Process Optimization: Identify process gaps, develop innovative solutions, and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Training and Development: Lead training programs for branch teams and mentor ASC and Branch Accounting Service novices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. About You Required: High School Diploma/equivalent 7 years of Insurance Accounting experience-preferably in a brokerage environment-that includes Receivables, Payables, and Billing experience Preferred: A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred 3+ years of experience in transactional accounting roles, ideally within the insurance brokerage or financial services industry Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment Avanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration and teamwork across diverse groups #LI-TL1 Compensation and benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package.
