Job Description The Accounting Specialist position reports to the Accounting Manager and is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and assisting with month end and year end close processes. Responsibilities: Perform end-of-month closing and post-closing activities such as preparing general ledger entries, assisting with balance sheet reconciliations, compiling data and supporting documentation for journal entries. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll activities, and others. Assist with internal and external audits and tax inquiries by providing documentation and explanations. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards (GAAP). Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, specializing in general ledger. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Proficient in Excel, and knowledge of Oracle system experience. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
