Job Title: Accounting Specialist – Accounts Payable (Accounting, Payroll & HR)
Classification & Type: Exempt, FTE
Salary Range: $40,000 - $50,000 Annually
Reports to: Corporate Controller

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

· At least three years of accounting experience.
· At least two years of payroll and human resource experience.
· Analytical and detail oriented.
· Understanding of accounting processes.
· Analytical and detail oriented.
· Solid knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software.
· Solid knowledge of multi state payroll processing.
· Punctual, reliable and must have strong communication skills – both oral and written.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel as well as Adobe Acrobat.
· Able to work in a team environment and produce quality output under tight deadlines.
· Self-motivated, pro-active and possess strong analytical skills.
· Attention to detail, organization and prioritization skills and time management.
· Quick learner with a positive attitude.
· High school degree.
· Must be a US citizen or possess a valid work permit.
· Must pass a background check.

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

· An accounting or business Associates or Bachelor’s Degree.
· Wealth management industry experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Indoor, office setting with essential physical requirements, such as climbing, standing, stooping or typing. Possibility of physical effort/lifting up to 20 to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

· Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
· Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
· Prepare payout batches in First Financial Bank.
· Prepare payroll on a bi-monthly basis and assist with other payroll activities.
· Confidentially maintain employee and payroll records.
· Onboard and off-board employees.
· Human Resource generalist duties.
· Daily enter key data of financial transactions in QBO.
· Provide assistance and support to company personnel.
· Research, track and restore accounting or documentation issues and discrepancies.
· Create and maintain standard operating procedures for position.
· Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws.
· Constantly update job knowledge.
· Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
