What You'll Do Accounts Payable & Vendor Management Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, including gathering invoices, data entry, general ledger coding, and payment processing Maintain vendor records, including W-9 forms, tax-exempt status, and address updates; respond to vendor inquiries Process employee travel and expense vouchers Reconciliations & Balancing Perform daily balancing of cash letters, share drafts, Visa, and general ledger accounts Manage ACH exceptions Perform assigned general ledger reconciliations Accounting Operations Process month-end activities, including recurring journal entries and general accruals Support accurate financial reporting by maintaining organized and timely accounting records Perform other duties as assigned What You Bring High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 4 years of job-related accounting experience or a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Internal candidates who meet the minimum years-of-experience requirement may be considered in lieu of other listed qualifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to manage responsibilities independently in a fast-paced environment Effective verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Teams, etc.) Preferred Experience Previous experience in a credit union or financial institution Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel Why You'll Love Working Here We're more than a credit union — we're a community Supportive culture with opportunities for growth and development Mission-driven organization rooted in respect, empathy, service, integrity, and cooperation Opportunity to contribute to the financial operations that support our members and employees Additional Requirements Good credit standing (verified prior to interview) Successful background check and drug screening upon offer Equal Opportunity Employer We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
