Description

Blu Omega is seeking a detail-oriented Finance & Administrative Coordinator to support financial operations and office management within a dynamic, fast-paced government contracting environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with Deltek Costpoint, a solid understanding of government compliance requirements, and the ability to manage both transactional finance tasks and general administrative support.
This role is critical to maintaining financial integrity by ensuring timely invoice and payment processing, supporting billing and collections, and keeping organized documentation for audits and reporting. The position reports directly to the Controller and collaborates across Finance, Operations, and Leadership teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or administrative roles, preferably within the government contracting industry
  • Strong proficiency in Deltek Costpoint preferred
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) compliance standards is highly desirable
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with document management systems such as SharePoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels
