Description
International Airport of Heraklion, Crete S.A. is currently looking for: Accounting Specialist Responsibilities Books invoices in SAP4HANA by controlling expenses, receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling the necessary supporting documentation (POs, Agreements, Offers, etc.). Maintains proper Accounting Ledgers by booking G/L entries (bank entries, depreciations, accruals, etc.). Performs bank reconciliations monthly. Prepares periodical Vendors’/Customers’ Ledger reconciliations. Monitors the company’s Tax obligations (Double Taxation Forms, Royalties). Supports the Accounting Manager during the month-end & Year-end closing. Assists the Accounting Manager upon performance of any Audit (interim/fiscal/tax/VAT). Maintains a proper and organized physical and digital record of all accounting documents. Collaborates with other company’s Dpts. and ensures open communication channels with them. Assists in other accounting related tasks, when requested. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Master’s degree (MSc) in Accounting/Finance is considered an asset Minimum 3 years of working experience Experience with high-volume or complex models Knowledge of IFRS and GFRS Experience with ERP, preferably SAP Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills Excellent knowledge of English language, both oral and written Competencies Strong analytical and critical thinking skills High attention to detail
Responsibilities
