TEMPORARY ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST - WEST SACRAMENTO, CA

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist for a temporary assignment with one of our valued clients located in West Sacramento. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and ready to contribute to a dynamic accounting team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years of accounting experience (AP/AR/general accounting)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (ERP experience a plus)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Type: Temporary
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
• Location: West Sacramento, CA (onsite)
• Compensation: Competitive hourly pay based on experience

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end close procedures
• Maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Provide accounting support to management and staff as needed
