Under general supervision and following established procedures, the Accounting Specialist is responsible for a variety of accounting duties and tasks. Essential Functions and Duties: Balancing and submitting remits Posting refunds using our system Posting commission and cost reimbursement from our clients into our system Sending Firm Fee funds downtown Issuing refunds to our consumers Correcting payment allocations in our system of record Benefits & Perks Include: Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance HSA & FSA Accounts 401K, with 4% company contribution (after 1 year of service) Paid time off (17 days per year) Paid holidays off (7 days per year + a floating holiday) Company Paid Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program Building amenities include: Free parking, onsite restaurant, & onsite free gym Requirements Required Education & Experience: High School Diploma/GED Degree in Accounting preferred, but not required 2+ years working accounting experience Experience with Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) Competencies: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Extreme attention to detail Clear written and verbal communication skills An ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Self-motivation Work Environment and Physical Demands: This role operates in a professional office setting, routinely working with standard office equipment.
