Description

ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST

A well-established accounting services firm is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their team. This role will support 3–5 clients and report directly to a Senior Accountant.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2–4 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (Accounts Payable experience required)
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities simultaneously
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop
  • Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, SQL, etc.) is a plus
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • This is a full-time, in-office position

    Salary Range $30 - $35 per hou
Responsibilities
  • Process Accounts Payable (review, code, and enter invoices; maintain vendor records; prepare payments)
  • Manage weekly check runs and vendor communications
  • Perform bank reconciliations across multiple client accounts
  • Assist with monthly close activities (journal entries, reconciliations, and workpapers as assigned)
  • Support client budget tracking and contract administration as needed
  • Provide general bookkeeping support to the Senior Accountant and client teams
