Job Summary The Accounting Specialist is responsible for managing various financial tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes Responsibilities · In charge of Accounts Payable · Process billings · Make collection calls · Prepare bank deposits · Apply payments · Manage customer accounts · Handle communications with vendors, clients, and internal departments · Other tasks as assigned Knowledge, Skill & Other Requirements · Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other related field; preferred · Proven experience as an Accounting Specialist or similar role · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Superior attention to detail and accuracy. · Ability to handle multiple projects at once, switching between various tasks quickly. · Strong knowledge of industry protocols and best practices · Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. · Strong knowledge of accounts receivable principles and best practices · Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel. · Knowledge of GAAP and familiarity with relevant accounting regulations and standards. · Experience with ERP systems a plus; currently we use NetSuite · Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
