The Accounting Specialist is responsible for supporting the financial operations of the company by managing day-to-day accounting tasks. This role ensures the accuracy of financial records, assists in month-end closings, reconciliations, and contributes to the overall financial health of the organization. Key Responsibilities: Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and general ledger accounts Prepare and post journal entries Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings Maintain and organize financial records and documentation Support audits by providing documentation and information as needed Monitor compliance with internal controls and accounting policies Assist with payroll and tax filings (depending on the company’s needs) Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis as required Qualifications Requirements to succeed Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday) Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Ability to work independently and as part of a team Nice to have , it’s a bonus! Experience in SAAS. Knowledge of Spanish tax regulations and payroll processes CPA or equivalent certification (a plus) Experience working in a Big4 Additional Information What we offer A friendly, diverse, and international team.
