Description This position is responsible for providing a wide range of office management and support to the company, including completing a systematic set of transactions in a specific phase of accounting. (e.g., accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit and collections). Key Responsibilities: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Reconcile credit card statements across all entities Assist with accruals and allocations Fixed Assets, Pre-pay, Accrued Software Expense Schedule Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice review, vendor payments, and customer collections across all entities Accounts Receivable – Assist with monthly invoicing to ensure timely completion Prepare various financial reports and assist with variance analysis as needed Maintain and organize financial documentation and support audit preparation Prepare various financial reports and assist with variance analysis as needed Receive and distribute incoming mail Assist with Sales Tax across all entities Sales Tax reviews in internal software Review/Reconcile debt/loans to accounting system Monthly Inventory Reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Respond to routine accounting inquiries from staff and vendors Assist with special projects, process improvements, and other duties as assigned Requirements Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skill and Abilities): Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field experience 2-4 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in multi-entity or multi-department environment. Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Great Plains) preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. M/F/Vets/Disabled and other protected categories
