Why do we need you? To perform any combination of the following: calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain financial data for use in maintaining accounting records. What you will do: Manage hotel cash handling, including daily cash counts, reconciliations, and deposits. Process accounts payable: code, verify, and post invoices accurately and timely. Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and respond to inquiries. Manage accounts receivable: post guest payments, apply group advance deposits, and ensure timely billing. Monitor and track group advance deposits and ensure proper posting. Lead or participate in weekly credit meetings, reviewing outstanding balances and credit issues. Assist with month-end closing procedures. Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and financial procedures. Additional duties as assigned by Manager. Skills and abilities you bring: Compute and record numbers correctly. Follow procedures for keeping records. Perform work that is routine and detailed. Use eyes, hands, and fingers at the same time to enter figures in books and forms, or to operate a calculator or personal computer. Copy large quantities of numbers without error.
