Job Summary With limited guidance, perform finance-related activities and oversee core accounting operations and support financial strategy within our insurance business. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strengthening internal controls, and driving process improvements and automation initiatives.Job Qualifications Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in accounting/finance, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry. Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role is highly preferred. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS / PSAK) and financial reporting requirements. Solid experience in general ledger management, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes. Strong understanding of AR/AP processes and internal control frameworks (ICFR/SOX). Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial modeling techniques. Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities Perform general ledger activities including accruals, provisions, reconciliations, and journal postings. Prepare periodic financial and ledger reports, analyze variances, and explain key results to stakeholders. Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions. Conduct basic accounting and regulatory research relevant to insurance and finance operations. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders (e.g., auditors, vendors, regulators) to ensure compliance with accounting standards and procedures. Support business decision-making through accurate financial analysis, data insights, and reporting. Contribute to annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes in partnership with cross-functional teams. Develop, maintain, and review moderately complex financial models to support planning and analysis. Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in accounting for internal projects and initiatives. Monitor and improve accounting processes by identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency using appropriate technologies. Perform and maintain Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) activities in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
