Overview Join our Accounting team for a 10-week summer internship designed to provide hands-on experience in a fast-growing, dynamic Food & Beverage environment. This internship offers meaningful exposure to core accounting processes, cross-functional collaboration, and real business impact—ideal for students looking to translate classroom knowledge into practical experience. This hybrid internship position works in the DTLA Arts District office Tuesday through Thursday. What You’ll Do As an Accounting Intern, you will support day-to-day and month-end accounting activities while contributing to projects that help improve processes and decision-making across the business. What You’ll Gain Real-world experience in accounting operations within the Food & Beverage industry Exposure to industry-specific accounting practices and compliance requirements Opportunities to collaborate with professionals across departments Mentorship and professional development from an experienced accounting team, including three former Big Four professionals Responsibilities Accounts Payable & Receivable: Assist with invoice processing and payment activities. Support reconciliation of incoming payments and follow up on outstanding receivables. Inventory & Cost Accounting Support: Help track inventory transactions, assist with inventory counts, and support cost analysis for raw materials and finished goods Month-End Close & Financial Reporting: Help prepare journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and support month-end close schedules and documentation Expense & Data Analysis: Analyze expense data, identify trends and variances, and prepare summary reports to support the Financial Planning & Analysis team Ad Hoc Projects & Presentations: Take on special assignments as needed, such as preparing presentations for leadership or supporting budgeting/forecasting activities.
