ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently enrolled in an accounting diploma or degree program. Prior Accounting experience or relevant education/training.
  • Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
  • Comfortable using office equipment, Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel), and accounting software (NewStar) or similar.

Responsibilities
  • Posting journal entries for accounts payables, accounts receivables, and other general transactions.
  • Reconciling balance sheets and bank accounts; investigate and resolve discrepancies when required.
  • Examining documents and financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards.
  • Maintaining internal control procedures to support and provide guidance to accounting team members.
  • Completing a variety of regular reports and analysis to summarize status and trends for internal stakeholders.
  • Completing accounting related activities as required
