This role ensures accurate financial tracking of production‑related assets, oversees funding allocations for operations and maintains robust controls to support timely, compliant financial decisions. The supervisor leads a team responsible for fixed‑asset accounting, funding approvals, reconciliations, and reporting across vehicle lease, rental and sales operations. Essential Functions:   Funding Management  • Oversee the funding approval process to ensure timely availability of capital for operational and production needs.  • Monitor and reconcile funding allocations across fleet, manufacturing, and sales operations.  • Coordinate with internal departments to confirm proper documentation, accuracy, and compliance with all funding requests. Fixed‑Asset Accounting  • Manage the fixed‑asset lifecycle, including capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and disposals.  • Maintain accurate financial tracking of production‑related and fleet assets in accordance with GAAP.  • Conduct periodic asset audits and resolve variances with internal stakeholders. Financial Reporting & Cash Management  • Prepare and review financial reports related to funding, fixed assets, and operational activity.  • Monitor daily cash flow to maintain adequate liquidity for operational and capital expenditures.  • Oversee daily bank balances, including reviewing transactions and ensuring alignment with internal records.  • Support short‑term cash forecasting based on asset activity, funding requirements, and operational needs.  • Review reconciliations for funding accounts, asset sub‑ledgers, depreciation, and capital projects. Leadership & Oversight  • Supervise and develop team members responsible for funding, fixed‑asset processing, and reconciliations.  • Assign priorities, provide performance feedback, and ensure adherence to internal controls.  • Promote accuracy, efficiency, and accountability within all accounting processes. Process Improvement & Systems Management  • Streamline workflows related to funding, asset management, and financial reporting.  • Support ERP and system enhancements, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to maintain accurate data and improve operational alignment. Compliance & Audit  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, GAAP, and audit requirements.  • Prepare audit schedules and provide supporting documentation for funding and asset‑related activities.
